Just out of the pool and still shirtless, Elvis played his recordings for his former high-school sweetheart, Barbara Hearn.
"They sat there quietly, focusing on the music. When the disc had been played, Elvis looked up and she told him how nice the songs were. He asked her to dance with him to the music, which she did. Then he tried to give her a kiss but was unsuccessful."
